🍖 Recipe: Stittsworth Summer Sausage and Cheese Board

A charcuterie-style board featuring Stittsworth summer sausage sliced thin and paired with bold cheeses and fresh accompaniments.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Stittsworth Summer Sausage, sliced
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar, cubed
  • 8 oz Gruyère, sliced
  • 6 oz Brie
  • 1 cup marcona almonds
  • 1 cup dried apricots
  • 1/2 cup honey roasted pecans
  • 1 jar Dijon mustard
  • Artisanal crackers
  • Fresh berries

Instructions

  1. Arrange the sliced Stittsworth Summer Sausage in overlapping rows on a large wooden board.
  2. Create sections for each cheese type nearby.
  3. Scatter almonds, dried apricots, and pecans around the board in clusters.
  4. Place small bowls of Dijon mustard and honey in strategic spots.
  5. Add crackers and fresh berries to fill gaps.
  6. Serve at room temperature for peak flavor.

Pro Tip: Stittsworth summer sausage's robust, slightly smoky flavor pairs beautifully with sharp aged cheeses and stone fruit. Slice it thin right before serving to showcase its marbled interior.
